"NO GENERATION GAP" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)
WWW, September 28 2009 - Today, we feature the Power Steppers in our series of daily MP3 Reviews. It's another collective in the Musical Discipline we know as UK DUB and ROOTS.
We also feature another track from the Wailers that you can download legally for free from the EZTRACKS.com Website. Music from a time wherein a lot of us were either just born (like yours truly) or not born at all.
It shows the strength of Reggae Music, in a way.
Music that can be decades old will appeal to the generation I know myself to be a part of (born in 1965), or the generations after that, where new music like that of the Power Steppers will not just attract younger listeners.
One Love, Give Thanks,

ITEMS FOR THIS EDITION:
WWW, September 28 2009 - Opening up with the typical UK Sound System Dub Sirens, A Taste of Bass is more than the title cared to suggest. This one on a hard hitting steppers, yet somewhat joyfully and carnavalesque, with some very crucial DUB mixing going on.
WWW, September 2009 - The Ruff Road that Lutan Fyah chants about is definitely not the Joseph Israel production he rides upon. With Chinna on guitar and Dean Frazer on sax, the tune is just right for the Jamaican vocalist to do his thing over. Check it!
WWW, September 2009 - Willi Williams is a remarkable figure in Reggae Culture. His conscious lyrics brought him several hits, such as the unforgettable "Ammagideon Time" on the Real Rock riddim, and "Messenger Man". He was part of the small but strong Jamaican Reggae Posse in Canada centered around the Summer Sound Label.
WWW, August/September 2009 - From August 16 to September 30, the Dubroom presents a new track available for free download at EZTRACKS.com. Just click to listen and check it out!
