"IS IT REGGAE?" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)
WWW, November 28 2009 - I spend many, many hours to find, select and review the best free and legal (DUB) Reggae MP3 files. Quite an experience at times, both positive and negative.
The first thing I have to determine: Is It Reggae?
It's one of the more negative aspects: a lot of music is labeled as "Reggae", where it hasn't got anything to do with the music that we love so much.
Sometimes, there are like derivates or fruits of (DUB) Reggae like certain fusions of Hip Hop and Dancehall, or certain forms of electronic Dance Music, and they just might be selected because of some relevance.
In a way, this also goes in retrospect when it comes to those forms of music that predate Reggae, like Ska and Rocksteady.

WWW, November 28 2009 - This 1980's release was considered one of the strongest tunes around when it hit the markets. Although it has this typical 1980's vibe because of the synthesizer, it's still a strong one that cannot be refused and shows why the album with the same title should be considered as your next purchase.
