"US DUB?" (WEBMASTER'S COLUMN)
WWW, November 3 2009 - Listen to "Scratch to Win" by Ticklah, it's featured in today's edition of Dubroom Online. The Dub is crucial, the music is too, and the fact that Ticklah comes from the US says a thing there.
While in America, I witnessed how different the musical styles and preferences are when it comes to Reggae Music. I witnessed how Dub is still to rise up in ways that the style has already achieved in Europe, especially the UK although France is a good second.
However, with engineers like Ticklah and the Canadian based Dubmatix, I do foresee the possibility that in an overseeable future, Dub could very well claim it's place in the North American continent.
Will there ever be such a thing as a clear, distinctive style of Dub like UK DUB? A US DUB, if you will?
One Love, Give Thanks,

ITEMS FOR THIS EDITION:
WWW, November 3 2009 - Crucial mixing on some very crucial musical playing, as this Steppers Rhythm is being transformed from Ire Instrumental into an excursion into DUB Outer space. Crucial horns, strategic mixing which shows Ticklah's expertise in the DUB Discipline!
WWW, October 2009 - Most definitely, Feel The Groove does exactly what the title suggests: joyous and Irie vibrations in a One Drop style with nuff rolls on the Timbales on a groovy bassline and plenty Dub mixing. Nuff Niceness!
WWW, November 2009 - Rohan Alexander Bennet (born 1972) is one of the lesser known, but definitely not unknown, Reggae Dancehall vocalists who took over the Dancehalls in the early 1990's as part of what some call the "Rasta Renaissance". Together with artists like Tony Rebel, Sizzla and others, Determine brought back Jah Rastafari in the Dance and keeps the flame burning until now.
